St. Petersburg hosted NEVA 2025, an international maritime industry highlight covering commercial naval engineering, shipping, ports, and ocean development, from September 23 to 26. Being at the forefront of Russian fishing fleet renewal, RFC consistently increases its output of deep-processed seafood products, showcasing its accomplishments regularly at major industry conventions.
RFC CEO Konstantin Globenko spoke on Renovation of the Fishing Fleet: State Incentives and Regional Specifics at the conference on September 25. In his presentation, Mr. Globenko discussed the topical aspects of fleet development and some effective solutions to problems faced by the domestic shipbuilding industry.
On the same day, RFC Fleet Construction Director Dmitry Sapov attended the project pitch session in the Naval Equipment and Infrastructure Solutions section of the Marine Olympus Awards. Marine Olympus is the first national award for the Russian maritime industry. Established in 2025, the competition is intended to reward Russian enterprises for outstanding achievements in the design, construction, and operation of commercial sea craft, environment protection, and navigation safety. The innovative project entered by RFC, Fish Processing Plants Onboard Project ST-192 Large refrigerator Trawlers, won 3rd place in the Innovative Solutions category at the Marine Olympus Awards. RFC was the only fishing company going home with a Marine Olympus award.
RFC was also featured on the combined Primorsky Region expo stand, credited as the region's fishing fleet renewal leader. Meanwhile, a scale model of our ST-192 series super-trawler took center stage on the United Shipbuilding Corporation’s display.
