Employees of the Russian Fishery Company were congratulated in Vladivostok on the eve of the Fisherman's Day
During the solemn meeting, a number of the RFC’s employees were awarded with letters of thanks and marks distinctions from the Federal Agency for Fisheries, Administration and the Duma of Vladivostok. Also distinguished employees were awarded with internal corporate awards and incentives. During the event, a teleconference was organized with the masters of seven vessels of the Russian Fishery Company, which are currently celebrating the holiday in the fishery in the Far Eastern fishery basin.
Evgeny Orlov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Russian Fishery Company, noted in his speech that for 11 years since the the RFC was established, we have managed to achieve impressive results and make a huge start for the future, in particular, in the field of renewing the fishing fleet. “We have built and put into operation the first fishing vessel in Russian history built at the domestic shipyard and capable of producing more than 100 tons of fish products per day. Moreover, with the support of Sberbank, the company launched a program to build a modern fleet, which is especially important today when most fishing vessels in Russia are over 30 years old,” Orlov emphasized.
It was emphasized that without a stable and highly skilledd team, it is impossible to achieve the company's goals, and the holding's management makes every effort to form such a team.
“We have successfully passed the first 6 months of this year, strengthened our positions in the top 3 Russian producers of pollock. We have significantly increased the manufacture of products with high added value. It is very important today to distinguish our team, the RFC team.
